Why I’m Sponsoring and Speaking at Ireland’s Publishing Show 2026
After attending and speaking at Ireland’s Publishing Show in 2025, I knew I wanted to be more involved the next time around. The event had a smart mix of practical advice, friendly people and a great setting. So I’m pleased to say I’ll not only be speaking again in 2026, but also coming on board as a sponsor.
The venue is a real highlight. Set in the grounds of a castle and just 15 minutes from Shannon Airport, it’s easy to get to whether you're flying in or travelling from elsewhere in Ireland. Accommodation is right on-site, and the layout makes it easy to move between sessions, chats and quiet corners.
Siobhán and Jade, the team behind the event, are doing something really thoughtful with how they support authors. There’s a strong focus on career development, not just book launches. The speaker lineup is a mix of new voices and established names, with sessions on writing, publishing, marketing and business growth.
In my own session, I’ll be sharing practical tips on how authors can build a strong online presence. From SEO basics to AI visibility, I’ll walk through what really matters when it comes to being found by readers, and how your website plays a central role in that.
I’ve worked with hundreds of authors, and I know how important it is to show up in the right places online. This event gives authors the tools to do just that. If you’re thinking of going, I’d absolutely recommend it. And if you’re already booked, come say hello.
