Write the book with Novel November and then help readers find it with The Self Publishing Show.

AUTHORS,
WRITE YOUR BOOK
Hello Authoring people.
NOVEL NOVEMBER
with ProWritingAid is back
This November, I'm taking part in Novel November: a free 30-day writing challenge from my great friends at ProWritingAid, helping writers turn a blank page into a full first draft.
Many authors I work with tell me that NOVEL NOVEMBER was their first introduction to writing, and many now-successful writers started this way.
James Blatch (The Self Publishing Show) is one of them, and he talks openly about how NOVEL NOVEMBER really kick-started his writing.
I'd love for you to be an Author who can tell the story of how you started with NOVEL NOVEMBER.
Not only do you get to write with a community of 100,000 authors, but you also get a ton of free resources, classes, encouragement and lots more.
As part of the free course available to you, there are a ton of free webinars and classes, and I'll be running a session called
Don’t Be Invisible: Help Readers Find You.
It runs live at 9 a.m. ET / 2 p.m. UK time.
You know how it goes: you spend months, if not years, writing your book, and then what?
So I'll be talking about how your author website can start working for you long before publication. It’s somewhere readers can get to know you, discover your writing and join your mailing list, so you’re building an audience while you’re still working on the story.
It's FREE and open to all.
What have you got to lose?

Let's get that draft done!
You never know. This really could be the start you have been looking for.
In case you missed it, last week was my 8th appearance on The Self Publishing Show, and to be honest, it was just like chatting to old mates.
I enjoy being on The Self Publishing show so much.
James worked as a journalist for many years, and his interviewing style is second to none. He 'asks' and 'listens', which is actually very difficult to do,
(for men anyway)
So being a guest on this show is a great, safe experience.
James and I have been friends and worked together for well over a decade and so it's always great to be invited on the show to chat. He has continued to support me and my business for many years and for that I will always be grateful.
We talk a lot about author visibility with Cissy, who is sooo much fun and adds a layer of experience and wisdom that only someone with her success would know.
Even if you don't listen to my episode, I really suggest you look up the podcast and get involved.
We all have a long chat and share some tips to get you going with your visibility. Please give it a listen. I think you will enjoy it. This is arguably one of the biggest author podcasts out there... and packed with great advice (and some laughs along the way).
Plus some breaking news: I’ll be seeing you in London at The Self Publishing Show in 2027.
Search "The Self Publishing Show" on all podcast providers or watch on YouTube below.

MORE TO TELL
AUTHOR+ IS COMING...
This last month has been very hectic, and I cannot wait to share with you some of the things we have going on.
I have more visibility challenges and news on some tools and projects that I know you are going to love.
I am just at the end of a family holiday in Thailand, and then home for a few days before jetting off again for Author Nation and Vegas, then back for a few days and off to Manchester for
THE HIVE – The Northern Indie Author Summit.
But I am hoping to grab some time to write to you about all the things going on.
I will be launching something called "AUTHOR+" in Vegas, so will be hoping to catch you up on that next week.
I think you will love it.
VISIBILITY CHALLENGE
In the meantime, your visibility challenge is to write a blog post on your site about something relevant to your writing. Your experience, your interests and what inspired you to write are good starting points.
Listen to the show above to find out why this might be a good idea.
Give AI lots to find about you. And a blog can be a way to do that.
I'll be in touch soon.
See you at Novel November and in Las Vegas.
Happy Authoring.
